In polite conversation, I found a fascinating linguistic trait. As far as I know, there is no exact correlation in the Indonesian language for the English word and concept of “NEVER.”
If I asked someone, “Have you ever been to America?” The answer was, “Belum!” Literally, “Not yet.”
How wonderful for everything in life to be possible…

I like that outlook. I’ve also read that In the aboriginal universe there is no past, present, or future. In not one of the hundreds of dialects spoken at the moment of contact was there a word for time. Just right here and right now.
