I had a strange reaction to my earlier post on being single. Friends seemed to read that I am lonely or perhaps a bit down. On the contrary, I am very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I am at this point in my life. I explore my emotions publicly at times and hope others can relate and find comradrey in our circumstances.
The outpouring of concern and love for my perceived mental state was terribly gratifying, so all in all it is a win-win situation as they say.

I admire your openness and honesty and like the others, didn’t read anything “down” in what you said. From reading your posts it sounds like you are very comfortable in your own space, and I love your dog! You can be uncompromisingly you when no-one else is there to divert you, so enjoy your time and seize the moment.
